8y1 - Pi Day
Friday this week is Pi Day because in America the 14th March is written as 3-14.
Look through the information on this website and any other websites you can to find out as much information as possible about the number Pi. What is it? When was it first used? Where was it first used? etc.
Record your findings into your books - I will be checking the content of this.
Once you have done this, in pairs you need to create a poster of your findings - you poster MUST include your own poem along the lines of the one on the nRich website that will help you to learn the first few decimal places.
Please remember my comments about behaviour!!
